FutureLand Express is ready to take you on an amazing tour of this newest bit of the Netherlands. New land, lots of sand, but mainly work underway. A busy building site, not freely accessible to the public due to the dangers and risks. But the new port is an impressive work that deserves to be seen close up. This is possible on the FutureLand Express. All aboard!
Sand, stone, concrete and steel. These are the ingredients to raise Maasvlakte 2 from the sea. Millions of cubic metres of sand have already been deposited, there are still millions to come. Experience the expansion of the port of Rotterdam on board the FutureLand Express and see the first contours of the new port. The guide on board will explain exactly what there is to see.
